Recorded books
Every day dozens of narrators sit in our Tel Aviv recording studios recording fiction, reference books, textbooks, periodicals and newspapers. Qualified sound technicians then edit the recorded material that is produced in Mp3 format.
All the books are available for subscribers to listen to directly from the Library catalog, to download or to have delivered on CD directly to their homes. The high quality digital recording, the possibility to browse between sections, chapters, sub-chapters, pages and notes (according to how the book is edited), together with the professional standards of narration, combine to produce an excellent reading experience.
The Library contains about 20,000 recorded books, including literature, books for children and youth, textbooks and reference books.
Recorded books provide a solution to anyone who is unable to read a printed book due to blindness and visual impairment, learning disabilities such as dyslexia or ADD and people with different physical limitations that make it difficult for them to hold a book, such as muscular dystrophy, ALS and more.
