Lara McClintoch, antique store owner and amateur sleuth, is heading home after wrapping up her annual antiquing tour through Europe. She is invited to meet billionaire and famous antiques collector Crawford Lake, who wants her to meet the owner of an Etruscan sculpture and persuade him to sell it to her. This turns out to be a difficult task, when the owner turns up dead in his own Etruscan tomb, setting Lara on a quest for the truth, and someone she can trust.
