Amos Be’er

Position: CEO
about

Retired Commander, Amos Be’er, was appointed CEO of the Central Library for the Blind,

Visually Impaired and Handicapped at the end of 2011. Be’er, holding a blind certificate, is married with three children. He holds a B.A. in Political Science and an M.A. in Criminology from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He recently terminated thirty years of service in the Israel Police at the rank of Commander. He held a variety of positions in computing, the last of which was as Head of the Department of Applications Development of the Israel Police.

Tzila Zion

Position: Assistant to the CEO
about
In her previous job, Tzila was a rehabilitation teacher for the blind; as part of her work, she supported and trained not only the blind themselves but also teams and groups who work with them.
Additionally, Tzila prepared and created teaching lessons on technology for the blind and new rehabilitation teachers.

Tzila has a B.Ed, certification studies in communication & journalism and also certification studies in dog therapy.

Her responsibilities include assistance to the CEO, managing volunteers, and customer service. Also, Tzila is a narrator at the library: reading books and audio description.
 

Roy Gordon

Position: Director of Technology

Joined the CLFB in 2004.
As of 2014, Roy heads the technology dept. at the CLFB. 

Noaa Livne

Position: Marketing and External Relations Manager
about Joined the CLFB in Feburary 2019.
Noaa will be in charge of resource development, marketing & PR, and co-operations.
