Retired Commander, Amos Be’er, was appointed CEO of the Central Library for the Blind,
Visually Impaired and Handicapped at the end of 2011. Be’er, holding a blind certificate, is married with three children. He holds a B.A. in Political Science and an M.A. in Criminology from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He recently terminated thirty years of service in the Israel Police at the rank of Commander. He held a variety of positions in computing, the last of which was as Head of the Department of Applications Development of the Israel Police.
Joined the CLFB in 2004. As of 2014, Roy heads the technology dept. at the CLFB.
