Dear Readers and Subscribers,

The Library has prepared song-books in Braille, including the best of Israel’s songs, for use by the participants of the Karaoke Evening for the blind community that will be held January 17, 2012 in Eldad School, Netanya.
The evening was initiated by Eran Avidan and Liran Feier. For further details please contact them directly by email lirannn9@gmail.com . If you would like to receive a song-book, please contact Nava or Zahava at the Library.

A new initiative:
The Organization for the Disabled in Israel has announced a new venture, an internet radio station entitled Galgalim B’reshet – Radio without Limitations. This station will be operated by and for people with disabilities. The station is working to advance the interests of the disabled community in Israel, and will discuss culture, entertainment, current affairs, welfare, rehabilitation, housing, transport, employment, sports, the arts, economics, recreation and dating.
Broadcasts can be heard on the station website www.gradio.co.il and on the TV radio channels of YES and HOT. If you are interested in being accepted as a broadcaster on this radio station, please apply by email to erez@clfb.org.il
To enable us to respond to your application, please address two matters:

  1. Why you believe you are suited to work as a radio presenter.
  2. What program you would like to present.

We would emphasize that applications should be made by email only. The applications will be passed on to the radio station Galgalim B’reshet, and answers will be provided only by them.
