CENTRAL LIBRARY FOR THE BLIND VISUALLY IMPAIRED & HANDICAPPED

The Central Library for the Blind, Visually Impaired and Handicapped produces, and lends books and periodicals in Braille, recordings and large print.

The goal of the Library is to enable the blind to exercise their right to know.

We are currently in the midst of building a new website that will be accessible to everyone and that will noticeably improve the user experience.

In honor of the approaching Hanukkah, some of the best Chefs, Pastry Chefs and Culinary specialists have gathered at the Central Library's recording studios, and produced a C.D with a collection of their best recipes for the Holiday. We wish to thank the chefs for taking part and for their contribution - Meir Adoni, Omer Miller, Nir Zuk, Shaul Ben Aderet, Eyal Lavy, Aviv Moshe, Ayelet Latovitch, Avi Biton, Segev Moshe, Miki Shemo, Oren Giron, "Master Chef" judge Michal Ansky and the health food expert- Phyllis Glazer.

The CD is distributed these days as aholiday gift to our subscribers. The CD will be sent directly to all our recorded newspaper subscribers on December 18th.
